The City of Sturgis is currently accepting bids for the following goods or services:

Request for Proposal - Lease of Building at 1510 Progress St.
The City of Sturgis, Michigan is seeking proposals for the lease of building at 1510 Progress St. The City of Sturgis had previously utilized this building for Meter Department operations and most recently leased to another local manufacturing company.

Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on March 29, 2021 at Sturgis City Hall, 130 N. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091. Faxed or electronic submissions will not be accepted. Proposals shall include, at a minimum, the following: •Sealed envelope clearly marked: "City Manager’s Office 1510 Progress Lease" •Any other information that would assist in the selection •Signed Copy of Triple Net Lease or Contract

Once received, submissions will not be returned. Formal communication, such as requests for tours of the property as well as clarification and/or information concerning this solicitation shall be submitted to Daniel Root, Facilities Manager, City of Sturgis, via e-mail addressed to [email protected], or via phone to (269) 659-7238.

Storage Building for Spence Softball Complex
City will receive sealed Bids for Storage Building for Spence Complex at the City of Sturgis, City Manager’s Office, 130 N. Nottawa Street, Sturgis, Michigan 49091 until Monday March 15, 2021, 4 p.m., local time. No Bids will be received after this date and time. Bids must be submitted on this form and shall be enclosed in an opaque, sealed envelope, marked with “Bid Enclosed”, the project title and the name and address of the Bidder.

This bid is for the construction of 32’ x 40’ post frame structure as shown on blueprints, including site work and concrete. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and inspections. Blueprints can be obtained electronically or in hard copy by request.

Airport Aboveground Fuel Tank and Installation
City will receive sealed Bids for Airport Aboveground Fuel Tank and Installation at the City of Sturgis, City Manager’s Office, 130 N. Nottawa Street, Sturgis, Michigan 49091 until Wednesday, March 17, 2021, 4:00 p.m., local time. No Bids will be received after this date and time. Bids must be submitted on this form and shall be enclosed in an opaque, sealed envelope, marked with “Bid Enclosed”, the project title and the name and address of the Bidder. Do not submit an envelope so marked unless a valid Bid is enclosed.

Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the actual date of opening thereof. This time period may be extended by mutual agreement of the City and any Bidder or Bidders. It is anticipated that a recommendation for award will be submitted to the Sturgis City Commission for consideration at its meeting on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all Bids.

Bidder has visited the site and become familiar with and is satisfied as to the general, local and site conditions that may affect cost, progress, performance and furnishing of the work.
